Happy 3rd birthday Evan! We all love you like crazy but these girls think of you as their brother! It was cute to see how excited you were to open your presents and to have everyone there sing Happy Birthday to you!
What a day for Ally today! She decided she wanted to get her ears pierced. We talked about how it would hurt and that we would need to take care of them everyday and she still was up for the challenge....she was brave and I was so proud that she made a decision to do something and followed through with it....all the while, Emma was crying and telling her not to do it because it was going to hurt to bad. She is so proud of her earrings!
It was an ususally warm February day today so the girls were outside enjoying the most of it. Kate took a moment to sit down and I just happen to have my camera when she decided to look up at me...she's so adorable!
A perfect day for the zoo. My parents who usually watch all three girls on Thursdays were feeling under the weather so Dave and I decided to take off work and make it a family day of fun at the zoo. Since it's February and most kids are in school it felt like we had the zoo to ourselves, it was so nice to be able to let Kate down to runaround and of course the girs are always there to keep an eye on her!
Caught red handed...probably calling China or some unsuspecting person in my phonebook. Either way, getting her hands on my phone is a daily goal....nevermind the 32 play phones we have laying around the house!
Happy Birthday Papa Bobby! Cookies, cake, candles and singing are all in order...of course we have to sing happy birthday five times so everyone has a chance to blow out the candles.
Lately, Ally's been into braiding or twisting her hair after she get's out of the bath. We let it dry, sometimes keep them in overnight and wake up and see what we have. Tonight, we opted to twist her hair...we'll see what the morning brings!
Tonight we helped Chris (aka Coach) celebrate his 40th birthday at a party with his family and friends. Chris and Dave have known each other more that half their lives. Having met in grade school, they went to the same high school and even the same college, played soccer together and even worked several jobs with one another. They have been life long friends with a lot of realy great memories and only more to come!
Emma had the chance to participate in Stations of the Cross with Papa Bob. She got to dress up like a server and was his right hand girl throughout the mass...she was so excited and did such a great job. She is always so eager to try new things, I love that about her!
New tricks are learned at our house everyday. Tonight it was Kate's turn to show off! I think she sat at the table an extra 10 minutes sucking this cup to her face....good times!
From one remodel project to another, we are re-decorating the girls bathroom. I found these cute paintings for the wall and an adorable shower curtain....I'm sure final pictures will be posted as soon as we finish!
Thank you Cindy, Lisa and Paully too. For Ally's birthday they took her to Build-A-Bear, she got to chose one friend so she picked Emma. Their evening started at Subway for dinner, then to Build-A-Bear and then to Cindy and Paul house where they played hide and seek in in the Giljum mansion, I mean house. They had the best time and have been playing with their bears every day!
I started a new yoga class tonight...this guy is not the instructor but his class is as hard as this video I've been using since Christmas. For anyone who doesn't think yoga is a workout, try this video or take a class, I feel so good after this class and almost always can feel it the next day!
Hey there, my name is Renee and I am a mom to three little girls which is the main reason why I created this blog. I wanted to create a cool website about our family but honestly can never find the time so I know this will be the perfect way to share what's going on with the Orr Family.
